About Me

Hi my name is Bella Castro-Miller. I am a recent 2021 grad of Kansas State University with a bachelors in  Apparel Textiles and Marketing. Summer of 2021, I will be moving to Leadville Colorado to intern for Melanzana, a hoodie company who sources their textiles from Tennessee and makes the hoodies employing local single moms in Leadville. I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas in a big, beautiful, amazing family.  I was homeschooled until high school which is a big reason I have been able to cultivate my creativity and specific interests. During my time in college I have strived to incorporate my focus on sustainability into all of my work. My dream is to strive to improve the ethics of the fashion industry. I would love to work in manner that empowers women. I enjoy pushing myself and others to get uncomfortable. I’m a deep thinker who is passionate about advocating for those without a voice.
